Node Light

A modular, shapeshifting lighting system made from thin, flexible OLED panels.

Overview

Node Light is a flexible track lighting system that can morph into different shapes. Its minimalist appearance and simple construction are enabled by lightweight OLED panels. ‘Nodes’ hold each panel in place and can be re-positioned along the track to create a unique light with sculptural qualities. The light can be transformed to blend in with a wide variety of environments and compliment its surroundings, whether a space calls for straight lines or gentle curves. Node Light was originally submitted to a design competition sponsored by a manufacturer of OLED lighting panels.

Node Light is a sculpture waiting to be brought to life. Its configurable layout is capable of producing straight lines and sinuous, organic forms to compliment its surroundings.

Lights are attached simply by sliding them into the nodes: The flexible, electrified housing that encompasses each OLED panel transfers power from one node to the next.
